We were sorry to learn that former club member, George Harper, has passed away peacefully at the age of 92. George regularly attending club nights until about three years ago.
George was an important part of the club; he was treasurer for several years before becoming chairman for a while. He played many Nottinghamshire League matches for the second and third teams, as well as filling in for the first team when we were short of players.
