This Monday, 30th June 2025, will be the last meeting of Newark Chess Club for the 2024-25 season. Meetings will resume again in September.
To round the season off, Martyn has offered to run a “just for fun” rapid play tournament in the following format:
Time control: 10+0 (10 minutes per player, no increment)
Rounds: 5 rounds using Swiss-style pairings
Schedule:
Round 1 – 7:45pm (5 min break)
Round 2 – 8:10pm (10 min break)
Round 3 – 8:40pm (5 min break)
Round 4 – 9:00pm (10 min break)
Round 5 – 9:30pm (finish by 9:50pm)
